[Damn it, Jude! Of all the times to be attentive to something awkward that she wants to say--! When he comes to sit by her, she stiffens, unsure how to react. Then it quickly sinks in that her little subject change has worked too well. Now she kind of wishes he'd fuss over her slight injuries instead.
Crap.
Okay. She came over to drop off his stuff and give him a stern talking to about not telling her about needing help. But the other reason she came to see him is because of this... thing she wants to tell him. Well. Maybe not wants to tell him so much as she just probably... should. Right? Jude's her best friend, they've known each other since they were kids... and she's had a crush on him for practically half her life. It certainly feels like she should tell him, and part of her also wants to see his reaction. Perhaps to find out if there ever had been anything there. Not that it would change anything. She's happy. But it'd be nice to finally close that chapter of her life.
Of course, now that he's sitting beside her, staring intently at her, waiting for her to speak up, the nerves strike her. She thinks to back out of this by saying something else, but she's terrible at coming up with something convincing on the fly, especially with nerves eating at her, and Jude would see through it, most likely.
So right now Leia is awkwardly staring at her hot chocolate, her mind spinning, as if she's looking for answers inside the mug she's holding. Marui and Jude talk to each other, or have, so if she doesn't say anything, he might. Then that might look weird. And she wants to be the one to tell Jude, because she could never tell Jude how she felt about him.
She opens her mouth, having given up on finding the words, and just tries her best to get through a single sentence.]
Um... you know Mar- uh, [wait, that's not his first name.] Bun- [crap, wait, she's not supposed to say his first name???] N-No, uh... Marui?
[And that sentence was an entire struggle, she stammers the whole way through.]
